ESRI Research Strategy

ESRI Research Strategy 2008-2013: Research for a Changing Ireland.

8 April 2008


This strategy sets out where the ESRI is planning to focus its research efforts over the coming six years, and outlines the key actions it will take to realise its objectives. 
The major developments in the strategy include:
  • Introduction of a new Research Framework focusing on Economic Growth, Social Progress and Environmental Sustainability.
  • Development of long-term programmes in all key research areas.
  • Increased focus on research in innovation, environment, migration, health and children.
  • New dissemination strategy to increase ease of access to ESRI publications.
