Scam emails offering positions at $500 a week to process payments
24/7/2012 We have been alerted to emails again being sent, purporting to come from Michael Carl, supposedly the human resources manager of the ESRI, seeking a personal assistant to process payments. These emails are NOT from the ESRI and we would advise anyone receiving such an email NOT to provide the sender with any information or bank account details, and to alert their email service. We do NOT have a Michael Carl working here and we are NOT offering employment on this basis.
Requests for work placements and work experience
Because of the ESRI's reputation as a centre of excellence in economic and social research, we receive many requests for placements and work experience opportunities. We have formal programmes for both graduates and interns so unfortunately we do not have the management capacity to supervise additional temporary/unpaid staff members.
