Conference: "Analysing Pension Policy"
Venue: ESRI, Whitaker Square, Sir John Rogerson's Quay, Dublin 2

Reforms of pensions systems are high on the agenda across the developed world. This conference brings together research which helps to shed light on the complex and long-term effects of pension reforms in the Irish context. Attendance at the conference is free, and all those interested in pension policy issues are invited to participate.

Speakers will include Edward Whitehouse (OECD), Justin van de Ven (NIESR), Tim Callan and Claire Keane (ESRI) and Gerry Hughes (TCD). Full programme and registration.

European Migration Network (EMN) 2011
Philip O’Connell, Emma Quinn, Corona Joyce, Elaine Byrne
EMN Ireland, located at the ESRI, will continue to provide up-to-date and reliable information on migration and asylum during 2011. Co-funded by the European Commission, DG Home Affairs and the Department of Justice and Equality, the EMN’s objective is to support policymaking at national and EU levels, as well as to inform the general public. EMN Ireland policy and research outputs may be downloaded from www.emn.ie. Latest news and statistics, as well as searchable databases of relevant case law, legislation and other publications are also available at this address.
