Muireann Lynch joined the ESRI as a postdoctoral research fellow in June 2014. She holds a BA in Economics and Mathematics from Trinity College, Dublin and a PhD from the department of Electrical Engineering in UCD. The title of her thesis was ‘Sustainable low-risk generation in liberalised interconnected electricity markets’. Her research interests include power system economics, interconnection, electricity markets, and regulation.
