Thomas Conefrey

Thomas joined the ESRI in September 2007 and worked as a Research Assistant and later as a Research Analyst in the Macroeconomics Division. He worked on the ESRI’s macroeconomic model and was co-author of the Quarterly Economic Commentary. Thomas left the ESRI in December 2010 to take up a position in the Financial Stability Division at the Central Bank of Ireland. He is currently on a two-year secondment from the Central Bank to the Irish Fiscal Advisory Council.
