Peter Neary

Peter Neary was a Research Assistant in the ESRI from 1970 until 1972. He was awarded a Research Fellowship by the ESRI (1974-1976) to study for a DPhil at Nuffield College, Oxford. He was a lecturer in Trinity College from 1978 until 1980 and Professor of Political Economy at University College Dublin from 1980 to 2006. He is currently Professor of Economics at Oxford University. His research interests include foreign direct investment; strategic trade and industrial policy and international comparisons of real income.
