Rory O'Donnell

Rory O'Donnell was a Research Assistant in the ESRI from 1976 until 1978. He was awarded a Research Fellowship from the ESRI (1978-1981) to study at Birbeck College, University of London, transferring to Cambridge University where he obtained his PhD. He returned to the ESRI as a Senior Research Officer in the 1990s and left to become Director of the National Economic and Social Council (NESC). He was also Jean Monnet Professor of Business at the Smurfit Business School, University College Dublin from 1997 until 2002 before returning to the NESC.
