Donal Curtin

Donal Curtin was a Research Assistant in the ESRI from 1973 until 1975. Subsequently he joined Forex Research Limited from 1976 until 1978 and in 1979 was appointed economic advisor to the Minister for Health in Ireland. In 1979 he joined the Bank of New Zealand as chief economist and in May 2002 he was appointed by Parliament?s finance and expenditure select committee to advise it on monetary policy, a position he currently holds.
