Cormac O’Dea is an Associate Director of the Institute for Fiscal Studies in London. His current research focuses on household saving behaviour, retirement decisions and the design of public pensions. He has also worked on the measurement of living standards, the distributional impact of changes to spending on public services, and effect that the tax and benefit system has on work incentives.
He has a PhD in economics from University College London and previously studied at Trinity College Dublin and the University of Cambridge.
