David Cronin is an Advisor in the Financial Stability Division of the Central Bank of Ireland. He is co-editor of its bi-annual Macro-Financial Review. His main research interests lie in the areas of monetary economics, fiscal policy, sovereign market behaviour, and financial economics. He holds Bachelor of Commerce and Master of Economics science degrees from University College, Cork.
