Colm McCarthy

Colm McCarthy was a Senior Research Officer in the ESRI in the 1980s. A graduate of University College Dublin and the University of Essex, he also worked at the Central Bank of Ireland and was a founding member of DKM Economic Consultants. Since 2005 he has been a lecturer in Economics at University College Dublin. In 2009 he chaired the group which produced the Report of the Special Group on Public Service Numbers and Expenditure Programmes, known as ?An Bord Snip Nua?.
