This study funded by the European Commission will examine the extent and intensity of production and trade linkages at firm-level across EU countries including Ireland. In addition, the analysis will identify the underlying factors of these linkages including firm and industry characteristics as well as country-specific institutional and regulatory factors. This new evidence will improve the knowledge base for policies aiming at strengthening the EU Single Market as a source of competitiveness and growth.
