Consumer sentiment increased in November to 63.8, from 60.9 in October. This month’s reading is above the 12-month average of 61.0. In November 2011, the Consumer Sentiment Index was 60.1. The 3-month moving average decreased from 63.7 to 61.6, driven by the large fall in September.
