Karen Mayor

Karen Mayor is currently registered as a PhD student at Trinity College Dublin. She joined the Institute in January 2007 as a Research Assistant in the Economic Analysis division. She received her B.A. in Economics from Trinity College Dublin in 2005 and her MSc. in Environmental and Resource Economics from University College London in 2006. She has worked as a research assistant for a private environmental economics consultancy on projects in Switzerland and in Jordan. Karen’s research interests include the economic impacts of climate change, natural resource management and environmental valuation techniques and she was part of the ESRI’s team working with the Environmental Protection Agency on developing a Sustainable Development Research Model of the Irish economy.
