The climate team has secured funding from the Department of Transport to investigate the impacts of a potential Aviation Carbon taxation scheme. This project will examine what the macro-economic, household, labour and environmental impacts are of different aviation carbon pricing mechanisms. This work will help inform potential future Irish policy concerning aviation carbon taxation.
