Income Distribution and Redistribution
This strand of the SWITCH research programme analyses how the distribution of income is affected by tax and transfer policies, and by broader developments in the macroeconomy such as changes in employment, unemployment and the distribution of wages. Direct analysis of SILC at national and EU levels is complemented by detailed modelling of policy effects using the SWITCH model.
