Scoping Study on Equality and Diversity in Public Sector Recruitment

The Public Appointments Service recently launched its first Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Strategy (2021-2023) with a key objective of gaining greater knowledge and understanding of equality and diversity in public sector recruitment. It has commissioned the ESRI to undertake a scoping study of its recruitment data, with a view to informing an Equality Monitoring Dashboard. The project commenced in December 2021 and is led by Dr Frances McGinnity of the ESRI.
