The impact of the OPFP changes on lone parent employment

Substantial changes were made to the One Parent Family Payment in recent years, removing eligibility for those with older children. The aim of the policy reform was to increase lone parent engagement in employment or education. This project will examine if the reform was successful with respect to this objective. This research is funded by the Department of Employment Affairs and Social Protection, the Department of Health, the Department of Children and Youth Affairs, the Department of Finance and the Department of Public Expenditure and Reform.
