Webinar: Lessons from remote learning to create better teaching in the new school year

Monaghan, Navan, Clare and Tralee Education Centres are partnering with NAPD to host a webinar to support post-primary school principals as leaders of teaching and learning on the cusp of the new school year.

This webinar will give school leaders an opportunity to reflect on the lessons of the period of school closures as they plan for school re-opening for the 2020/21 school year. The focus of the webinar will be on effective teaching and learning.

Professor Selina McCoy, ESRI and Trinity College Dublin will present her research “Student engagement in the midst of COVID-19’’ and Ms. Marie Thérése Kilmartin, Principal of Coláiste Bríde Clondalkin will speak about her school and their preparation for the new school year in the context of teaching and learning.

The webinar will be interactive with a live panel discussion.
