The ESRI and the Foundation for Fiscal Studies are holding their Sixth Budget Perspectives Conference on Monday 6 October 2003, from 9.00 a.m. to 1.00 p.m, at the Hilton Dublin Hotel, Charlemont Place, Dublin 2. The conference papers, “BUDGET PERSPECTIVES 2004”, will be available at this half-day Conference.
The Conference will examine some of the key economic and public finance issues that need to be considered in framing the forthcoming Budget. There are five papers covering:
The ESRI works towards a national vision of ‘Informed policy for a better Ireland’. This means producing high-quality analysis to provide robust evidence for policymaking, with the goals of research excellence and policy impact.
The ESRI produces research that contributes to understanding economic and social change in the new international context and that informs public policymaking and civil society in Ireland.
