John McHale

John McHale was awarded a Research Fellowship from the ESRI from 1990 until 1993 to study at Harvard University. He is currently Professor and Head of Economics at the National University of Ireland, Galway. Before joining NUIG he held positions as Assistant Professor of Economics and Associate Professor of Economics at Harvard University, and as Associate Professor of Managerial Economics and Toller Family Research Fellow at the Queen?s University, Ontario. His research interests include labour migration and development. See
