Féidhlim McGowan joined the ESRI in August 2016 and was a Research Assistant in PRICE Lab. He holds a B.A. in Economics and Psychology, and an LL.M. in International and European Business Law, both awarded by Trinity College. For his LL.M. dissertation he analysed how insights from behavioural sciences could inform EU consumer protection law.
Féidhlim previously completed an internship with PRICE Lab in 2014. He has also co-authored a paper on the ‘choice blindness’ phenomenon that was published in the Journal of Behavioural and Experimental Economics.
The ESRI works towards a national vision of ‘Informed policy for a better Ireland’. This means producing high-quality analysis to provide robust evidence for policymaking, with the goals of research excellence and policy impact.
The ESRI produces research that contributes to understanding economic and social change in the new international context and that informs public policymaking and civil society in Ireland.
