Cameron joined the ESRI in October 2017 as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow within the behavioural economics team. With a background in economics, his research interests lie in utilising experimental methodology to better understand findings of behavioural science that impact on consumer decision making and welfare, and to use these findings to inform policy development.

He holds a PhD in Economics at University of East Anglia, and the title of his thesis was ‘Essays on Attention in Individual Decision Making’. He also holds a BSc in Economics and MSc in Experimental Economics, both also from University of East Anglia. During his PhD, he worked as an Associate Tutor within the School of Economics, and supervised postgraduate dissertations in the fields of banking and finance.

He has recently co-authored a paper on the role of attention and novelty in economics experiments in Journal of Economic Psychology.
