Social Research | Postdoctoral Research Fellow

Sanna Nivakoski joined the ESRI as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow in August 2016. She obtained her Ph.D. in Economics from Trinity College Dublin in 2014. She holds an M.Sc. in Economics from Trinity College Dublin and a B.A. in Economics from University of Abertay Dundee.

Sanna’s research interests are in applied microeconomics, including topics related to retirement and pensions, within-family transfers and subjective expectations.

Prior to joining the ESRI, Sanna worked as a Post Doctoral Research Fellow at the UCD Geary Institute for Public Policy.
