Environment and health conference
Speakers from the ESRI and UCD presented the latest findings from research on the environment and health funded by the EPA and HSE. The conference included opening remarks by Dr Matthew Crowe from the Environmental Protection Agency.
It also included a presentation by Dr Katharina Janke from Lancaster University, who provided an overview of research on the health and economic impacts of air pollution. Other topics included the health benefits of urban green space and a presentation by Enda Murphy from the UCD School of Architecture, Planning and Environmental Policy, to discuss transportation noise and public health outcomes.
