Laura Malaguzzi Valeri (Ph.D., University of Michigan, 2005) is a Research Affiliate with ESRI since 2014. She was previously a Research Officer at ESRI. Her research is in at the intersection of energy economics and industrial organization. She is particularly interested in the effects of policy changes on firms’ and individuals’ economic behaviour. Most of her recent work has focused on electricity markets and in particular on the effects of integrating wind resources on system emissions, wholesale and retail prices. She has a side interest in road freight transport. Download CV
