Save the Date: EMN Ireland Conference: Looking to the future for unaccompanied minors in Ireland and Europe

Location:  Morrison Hotel, Ormond Quay Lower, Dublin 1

This European Migration Network (EMN) conference will provide an opportunity to discuss practices and challenges related to the care and integration of minors, both those awarded protection status and those transitioning to adulthood without a decision. Access to aftercare, family reunification, health and education by unaccompanied minors will also be discussed.

The conference will also provide an opportunity to consider the impact of the recently transposed Reception Directive, which contains new provisions relating to unaccompanied minors.

The EMN Ireland national study Approaches to Unaccompanied Minors Following Status Determination in Ireland will also be launched at the conference.
