1997-2022: A Generation of Change, Statistical and Social Inquiry Society of Ireland Symposium

The Statistical & Social Inquiry Society of Ireland invites you to attend the fourth Ordinary Meeting of its 175th session, at 4.30 pm on March 24, where a symposium with the theme "1997-2022 - A Generation of Change" will take place. This symposium will take place face-to-face, at Ibec (Lower Baggot Street).

The Statistical & Social Inquiry Society of Ireland will also be facilitating online attendance for those that cannot attend physically; details on how to sign up to attend either face-to-face or online will be circulated on Monday, March 21st.

Tony Fahy (UCD)

Tony Fahy will discuss changes in the demographic and migration patterns in Irish society between the late 1990s and the present day.

Theresa Reidy (UCC)

Theresa Reidy will present on political fragmentation and changes in the political environment since the late 1990s.

Barra Roantree (ESRI and TCD)

Barra Roantree will discuss changes in income, inequality and living standards between the late 1990s and the early 2020s.
