Afterschool care for school-age children in Ireland
This webinar launches a new ESRI report on school-age childcare in Ireland.
Using two waves of GUI data, this report examines the factors influencing choice of afterschool care at age 9, the activities of children who attend different types of care, and their cognitive and socio-emotional outcomes at age 13.
This report is part of a research programme funded by the Department of Children, Disability and Equality (DCDE).
