ESRI - Department of the Taoiseach conference - Research on a Shared Island

The Taoiseach, Micheál Martin TD, will deliver the keynote address and launch the report ‘Sharing the Island: Economic and Social Challenges and Opportunities: Evidence from an ESRI Research Programme’

The conference will also feature a panel discussion on the ESRI-Shared Island report ‘Economic Overview of Ireland and Northern Ireland’.

This event marks four years of the joint research programme between the Economic and Social Research Institute and the Department of Taoiseach’s Shared Island Unit

The programme has produced 16 research reports to date adding to understanding of current and potential linkages across the island of Ireland in a range of economic, social and environmental domains, and providing a stronger evidence base and analysis of the whole island, as an input for public and political discussions on building a shared future.
