Future health and social care capacity requirements: projections, challenges and policy pathways

This half-day event will begin with presentations from ESRI researchers outlining national and regional projections of demand and capacity requirements to 2040 across public hospitals, general practice, and services for older people. These presentations will be followed by a panel discussion featuring policymakers, academics, and health professionals, who will examine the key challenges and explore potential policy pathways for meeting future capacity requirements.
