Growing Up in Ireland Data Workshop

Growing Up in Ireland hosted a Data Workshop to promote and support the use of the Child Cohort datasets (Waves 1, 2 and 3) on Friday 24th August 2018 from 10am to 2pm at the offices of the Economic and Social Research Institute in Dublin.

Training covered a range of topics and is designed to give a comprehensive overview of the conduct of the study, the data themselves and supporting documentation, as well as how to match the datasets across waves. Researchers who have previously attended a data workshop on the Wave 1 or 2 of the data should note that this workshop covered much of the same content. No prior familiarity with the Growing Up in Ireland data is assumed. The Infant Cohort data was not covered in this workshop.

Accessing the Data

The Growing Up in Ireland Anonymised Microdata Files (AMF) from Waves 1, 2 and 3 of the Child Cohort are available on application to the Irish Social Science Data Archive (ISSDA)
