Shared Island - Productivity levels in Ireland and Northern Ireland

This event will launch a new ESRI report titled Modelling productivity levels in Ireland and Northern Ireland.

This report examines sectoral productivity differences in Ireland and Northern Ireland. It attempts to understand these differences by identifying the key determinants of productivity in both economies.

Report authors will present findings from the report; subsequently, a discussant will respond to the report findings. There will also be a Q&A segment.

This research is part of a joint research programme between the Department of Taoiseach’s Shared Island Unit and the ESRI on the economic and social opportunities from increased cooperation on the Shared Island.
