ESRI researchers address the Joint Committee on Children and Equality to discuss child poverty and deprivation

On 16 October 2025, ESRI researchers Karina Doorley and Helen Russell addressed the Oireachtas Joint Committee on Children and Equality.

Drawing on ESRI research, they discussed child poverty in Ireland, the impact of the current benefit system and the impact of proposed reforms.
