ESRI researchers address the Oireachtas Joint Committee on Social Protection, Rural and Community Development
On 18 July 2025, ESRI researchers Prof Karina Doorley, Bertrand Maître and Simona Sándorová addressed the Oireachtas Joint Committee on Social Protection, Rural and Community Development.
Drawing on ESRI research, they discussed child poverty in Ireland, particularly how it is measured, the impact of benefits and proposed reforms.
