Iris Wohnsiedler
Postdoctoral Research Fellow
Iris joined the ESRI as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow in the Social Research Division in October 2024. She holds a PhD in Economics from Trinity College Dublin. In her PhD thesis, she uses applied micro-econometric methods to study labour market institutions in a historical context.
Iris’ research interests centre around labour economics, political economy and economic history. Previously, Iris worked as a Research Assistant at the German Institute for Economic Research (DIW) and Mercator Research Institute in Berlin.
