Kate Devane

Kate Devane joined the ESRI as a Research Assistant on the Macroeconomics Team in August 2023.  She holds an MSc in Economics and a BA in Economics and Social Studies - both from Trinity College Dublin. Her MSc thesis used household-level microdata to explore the effects of legislative change on the bank account ownership, savings and remittance-sending behaviour of Mexican migrants in the USA.

She previously worked for the Central Bank as an Associate Supervisor and, more recently, as a Teaching Assistant and Research Assistant in Trinity College Dublin.
