ESRI researchers address the Oireachtas Joint Committee on Disability Matters, on ‘Inadequate personal assistance supports’
On 23 March 2023, Dr Eamonn Carroll and Prof Selina McCoy addressed the Oireachtas Joint Committee on Disability Matters.
They discussed their large-scale, multi-phase study on personal assistance supports in Ireland.
The research — funded by the National Disability Authority — reflects on current personal assistance structures and the experiences of disabled people as they negotiate and engage with these services.
