The OECD highlights ESRI research

In a recent report published earlier this month, the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) highlighted the ESRI's research on the increasing productivity gap between foreign-owned and local firms in Ireland (this reference is to Chapter 3.4 in the report “Comparative Performance of Indigenous and Multinational Firms Operating in Ireland”.

ESRI research on productivity spillovers from multinationals to local firms in Ireland is also cited in the OECD report.

The OECD published their report 'FDI Qualities Assessment of Ireland”, which examines the impact of foreign direct investment (FDI) in Ireland over the period 2006-2016. The report also provides an overview of the direct contribution of FDI and spillover effects on the local economy.
