Denise Frawley joined the Social Research Division as a Research Assistant in Education, in August 2011. Before this she worked on the National Longitudinal Study of Children in Ireland as a Field Support Executive. Denise has a BA in English and Sociology as well as a MA in Sociology, both awarded from UCD. Her thesis was entitled: A sociological investigation into the effects of religion and geographical location on attitudes towards suicide. Currently she is involved in a research project on Irish children with special educational needs in primary and post-primary schools.
