Kaja Urbaniuk
Kaja joined the ESRI in June 2026 as a Policy Officer with the Irish National Contact Point of the European Migration Network (EMN), based in the ESRI. The overall objective of the EMN is to improve the availability of, and access to, information concerning migration and asylum at European and Member State level in order to support policy and decision-making in the EU.
Kaja holds a BA in Politics and Government from Sciences Po, and an LL.M. in International and Comparative Law from Trinity College Dublin. Her LL.M. thesis focused on the role of the Nordic model in safeguarding human rights of the victims of sex trafficking. Prior to joining the ESRI, Kaja worked with Trinity College Dublin, as well as NGOs and think tanks in Ireland, Poland and France, focusing on access to justice and international human rights.
