Migration, Integration and Demography
Research examines the major forces that shape the population, including fertility, mortality and migration. A key research theme is the integration of migrants and their children. The Research Programme on Integration, Migration and Equality (RIME), aims to create and enhance knowledge on migration and integration, with funding from the Department of Justice, Home Affairs and Migration. This area also incorporates the National Contact Point for the European Migration Network, which provides objective, up-to-date and comparable information on migration and asylum.
