Economic Effects of the Enterprise Ireland’s Online Retail Scheme

This research funded by Enterprise Ireland will assess the economic impacts of the Enterprise Ireland’s Online Retail Scheme on the performance of beneficiaries in terms of enhanced online capability, increased internationalisation, job growth and skill development. The results will inform enterprise policies aiming at boosting the competitiveness of the Irish retail enterprises through digitalisation and at improving their resilience to increased international competition through online channels. This research is part of a larger project on the evaluation of the Financial Products managed and administered by Enterprise Ireland. The ESRI team will work together with a group of independent academic and business experts.
