Eoin Monaghan joined the ESRI as a Research Assistant in May 2019. He holds a BA in Philosophy, Politics and Economics from Oriel College, University of Oxford. He is in the process of writing his dissertation to finish his MSc in Economics at Queen’s University Belfast. His dissertation examines the relationship between energy consumption and economic growth in Ireland.
He is part of the Climate and Energy team at the ESRI, working on the i3E (Ireland Environment, Energy and Economy) Model to explore the economic impacts of climate change policies.
