ESRI researchers address the Oireachtas Committee Committee on Budgetary Oversight

On 13 January 2026, ESRI researchers Martina Lawless, Adele Bergin and Paul Egan addressed the Oireachtas Committee on Budgetary Oversight.

Drawing on ESRI research, they examined Ireland’s shifting demographics, the resulting implications for the economy and healthcare demand, and policies that can support an ageing population.
