Ivan Privalko

Ivan Privalko joined the ESRI’s Social Research division in December 2018. He holds an MSc in European Employment Studies from Trinity College Dublin and a PhD in Sociology from Maynooth University. His PhD thesis explored the effects of job mobility on working conditions and earnings growth using two longitudinal panels; it’s titled “Dynamic Outcomes: Effects of Job Mobility in Germany and the UK”.

Previously, he was a Researcher with the Dublin Housing Observatory and a Research Assistant with New Deals; an ERC-funded study of working conditions in Europe, based in Maynooth University. His research interests are in longitudinal analysis, social stratification, and labour market inequality.
