Elisa Staffa

Research Analyst

Elisa Staffa is a Research Analyst in the Labour Market and Skills team, where she previously worked as Research Assistant since joining the ESRI in November 2022. She holds a Bachelor and a Master’s degree in Economics from University of Rome La Sapienza, and is currently a PhD candidate in Economics at University College Dublin. 

Her research interests include labour economics, in particular the areas of minimum wage, skill mismatch, the impact of green transition on employment and the impact of technological change on work.  She has been involved in policy research programmes with Irish Departments, as well as in European-funded projects.

Prior to the ESRI, Elisa worked as a Research Assistant in the EU agency Eurofound, in the Employment and Labour Market Unit.”
