Lorcan Kelly

Lorcan Kelly joined the ESRI in December 2023. He is a Research Assistant in the Labour Market and Skills Team. Lorcan holds a BSc in Economics from University College Dublin, and an MSc in Economic Policy from Utrecht University in the Netherlands. His MSc thesis investigated the relationship between social expenditure and Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) in Latin American countries between 2000 and 2020. His research interests include labour market policies, education, skills and causal analysis.

Prior to working at the ESRI, Lorcan worked as a Graduate Statistician at the Central Statistics Office in the National Accounts Integration division.
