| Postdoctoral Research Fellow
Hannah joined the ESRI in August 2018 as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow in Behavioural Science.
Her background spans several disciplines. She holds a PhD in Neural Dynamics from the University of Bristol, as well as an MSc in Mathematical Neuroscience and a BA in Mathematics and Philosophy from Trinity College Dublin. Her PhD research, funded by the Wellcome Trust, focused on studying behavioural non-motor aspects of Parkinson’s disease using the fruit fly Drosophila as a model organism.
Hannah has also worked as a policy intern at the UK’s Academy of Medical Sciences, as a science writer for the publisher eLife and as a project officer with the Health Research Board. As a member of the ESRI’s Behavioural Research Unit, she is interested in using behavioural science experiments to inform policy development in a range of areas.
